Wrestlezone was able to speak to Cody and Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks after last week’s Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party in Las Vegas. The pair spoke about their business partnership with AAA of Mexico, with both being very positive about its potential, and wanting to break the mold that only guys can work in certain places:

“I was excited because Dorian—we put a post out on the [AEW social channels] talking about the cross-promotion—it’s more of a friendship, I’d say, than a partnership”. Cody said.  He continues on with “You will see guys cross that line. This might piss some people off, but there are some dated, weird, antiquated systems… ‘oh we only want to work with these people. Our bridges are down, we want to work with everybody.”

Nick Jackson added on to the conversation about the positives on bridging the gap between wrestling companies:

“And why wouldn’t you want to work with us? Pretty cool, right? Let’s have some fun, that’s what this is all about.”

The pair also talked about Kenny Omega’s signing, All Elite Wrestling’s potential use of rankings, and much more. Check out the full interview here.
