Over the weekend, news broke over Matt and Nick Jackson crashing the MLW show “Come Hell or High Water” in Atlanta. The former New Japan Pro-Wrestling stars publicly invited Pentagon Jr. & Fenix to join All Elite Wrestling, which the two luchadores agreed to do.

Last Saturday’s show was apparently the final match in Major League Wrestling for the Lucha Bros. MLW promoter Court Bauer himself confirmed the news by thanking the former MLW World Tag Team champions for their time in the company since its resurrection:

Sources say that Pentagon Jr. & Fenix are expected to appear at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for AEW. The Lucha Bros contract with AEW is non-exclusive thus they’re allowed to wrestle in different promotions, but it seems that the former MLW World Tag Team champions ultimately decided to move on from the promotion.

There were reports that the Lucha Bros stormed out of the arena once their final match was said and done, but Court Bauer decided not to address the situation:
