On Friday evening, Fenix was stretchered out of AAW’s Lucha City Limits show in Austin, Texas.

The Impact Wrestling star was defending the AAW Tag Team Championships with his brother Pentagon Jr. against AR Fox and Myron Reed. Fenix was hurt towards the end of the match after executing a cutter. The Luchador did not get back up after hitting the move and the bout was immediately cut short with Pentagon Jr. getting the victory for his team.

The AAW Twitter account posted an update on Fenix and noted that he had been taken to a local medical facility and they will keep the public updated on how he is doing going forward.
