Richard Holliday isn’t leaving Major League Wrestling anytime soon.
The promotion confirmed that the 27-year-old signed a new multi-year deal, though the exact details of his new contract remains unknown. MLW CEO Court Bauer sent out a press release praising The Dynasty member:
"Richard has become a staple of MLW and its telecasts, helping to lead the charge in representing the league as a world class homegrown athlete," said MLW CEO Court Bauer. "He is a dynastic competitor with qualities you seldom find. MLW is ecstatic to continue to feature Richard Holliday for years to come."
Holliday responded with his decision behind re-signing with MLW:
“Anytime you’re making a decision for your future, all aspects in regards to it must be considered," said Holliday. "MLW checked all of the boxes in terms of opportunity, presentation, creative process, and upwards mobility. Other offers were presented, and of course taken into consideration, but remaining with MLW felt like the best decision for me.”
Holliday made his debut in 2018 alongside MJF and Alex Hammerstone to form The Dynasty faction. The extremely cocky member famously feuded with The Hart Dynasty (Brian Pillman Jr., Davey Boy Smith Jr, and Teddy Hart) and he managed to capture the MLW World Tag Team titles with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Despite the loss of MJF earlier this year, The Dynasty is still going strong as the group added Gino Medina to the faction. Holliday hasn’t been able to wrestle since March due to MLW cancelling several events because of the coronavirus.
Other than MLW, Holliday has competed in Combat Zone Wrestling, AAA Lucha Libre, Battle Club Pro, and Xtreme Wrestling Alliance.
