Less than two weeks ago, Mayu Iwatani surprised ROH fans when she pulled off a huge upset by defeating Kelly Klein at the Bound by Honor show in Miami.

It isn’t taking the Stardom mainstay long to defend her new WOH title as ROH has announced that Iwatani will be fighting Konami for the Women of Honor World championship on February 24th in the all-women’s promotion. Ring of Honor and Stardom have had a partnership with one another throughout the last several years, so the WOH title match taking place in Osaka, Japan isn’t nothing new.

Will the woman known for her submission-based wrestling game pull off another upset and defeat Iwatani on her first title defense? Or will Mayu continue to showcase why she deserves to be crowned the WOH champion? We’ll find out on February 24th!
