Are faces and heels still a thing in pro-wrestling? It's certainly true that most companies still promote their talent as being either "good" or "bad," but when the crowd is the one deciding how to respond to that, does it really matter?

One man who doesn't seem to think so is new NWA Worlds Champion Cody, who had the following response when a fan asked him if he was currently wrestler as a heel or a babyface.

It's difficult to argue with Cody's take on this. After all, one needs look no further that the current situation with Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch in WWE: oneis a face hardly anyone to cheer, and the other a heel hardly anyone wants to boo.

The deymamnic can still work, of course, we may begin to see even the larger US promotions begin to follow NJPW's lead at some point and simply allow the crowd to do their thing while rolling with the reaction.
