The past weekend, both Ring of Honor stars Chris Sabin and Flip Gordon suffered major injuries that hampered the performances of both competitors over the weekend. Gordon's match against Tracy Williams on Sunday was forced to abruptly end since he wasn’t able to continue.
Sabin was also unable to continue after connecting with a super hurricanrana on Gordon in a six-man mayhem match on Saturday night that ultimately caused an injury to his knee. The former ROH Tag Team champion did not participate in the rest of the bout and was assisted out of the ring.
It’s believed that Sabin suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during the Atlanta event Saturday night. As for Gordon, it’s believed that he will be out of action for at least four weeks with a possible MCL Sprain. Both athletes will continue to be evaluated and the company will keep updating the fans on the severity of both competitors’ injuries.
