Flip Gordon will remain with Ring of Honor.

The company announced that the “Mercenary” of Villain Enterprises has re-signed a multi-year deal with the promotion:

Gordon has competed in ROH since 2017, with the 28-year-old making his debut against former ROH World Tag Team Champion Matt Sydal. While Gordon has yet to win any belts within Ring of Honor, the Villain Enterprises member is a prominent player in the promotion alongside Marty “The Villain” Scurll, PCO, and Brody King.

Despite being unable to compete since March, Gordon still has a future ROH World Championship match waiting for him. At the ROH Free Enterprise show in February, Gordon won the 20-person Battle Royal to earn a shot at the prestigious belt at a future event.

Gordon does have ties to AEW and Cody Rhodes, but there was no speculation on the ROH star possibly jumping ship to All Elite Wrestling once his contract expired. Like many contracts in wrestling, the details remain disclosed. There’s no word on when ROH will start running events again as the company has cancelled every live show in June including their Best in the World pay-per-view.
