Another big name has been added to ROH’s Supercard of Honor event, as KENTA will make his return to the promotion on April 4.

Prior to stint with the WWE, the former NEVER Openweight Champion made appearances for Ring of Honor from 2005 to 2009. Since KENTA’s departure from WWE, the Bullet Club member has been making a big splash in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Despite losing the 2019 G1 Climax, the NJPW star walked out with an impressive score of 4-5 (8 points). Following the tournament, he joined the Bullet Club and would go on to win the NEVER Openweight Championship. While the 38-year-old would drop the belt to Hirooki Goto at Wrestle Kingdom 14, KENTA moved up the rankings and is now challenging Tetsuya Naito for both the IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental titles at New Beginning in Osaka on February 9th.

KENTA joins former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, Villain Enterprises (ROH World Champion PCO, Scurll, Brody King and “The Mercenary” Flip Gordon), La Facción Ingobernable (RUSH, ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee, Kenny King and Amy Rose), Slex, Session Moth Martina, and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion El Phantasmo for the Supercard of Honor event.
