Stardom and Dragon Gate will make their returns this upcoming week.

Following a meeting with government officials this past Thursday, it was determined that the coronavirus was limited to three of parts of Japan. Areas that contain a low number of citizens with the coronavirus are allowed to resume classes and sports events due to the situation not being as dire as it was several weeks ago.

The events are still prohibited from having a large gathering; however, a select number of fans can be in attendance for each show. Safety precautions will be in full force at every event as a temperature check and masks will be issued to each patron.

Dragon Gate will start running events on Sunday, March 22 in Kobe. A Triple Threat match between Kagetora, Kota Minoura, and KAZMA SAKAMOTO and a six-man tag team match with KAI, Punch Tominaga, and Jimmy taking on YAMATO, Jason Lee, and Hoho Run will be the featured bouts on the card.

Stardom’s return show will start on Tuesday, March 24 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The annual Cinderella Tournament featuring Jamie Hayter, Mayu Iwatani, and Starlight Kid will be the main focus of the event.

In terms of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that the promotion is hoping to resume business on March 31; however, nothing has been made official just yet.
