For Austin Aries, Saturday Night SuperFight was all about finally winning the MLW Middleweight Championship. For Teddy Hart, his title match against the former Impact World Champion was about getting revenge. Aries not only ruined Hart's chances at becoming the MLW World Tag Team Champion once again, but he came very close to putting a permanent end to Hart’s career.

These two athletes had a vey good back and forth match-up that showcased why both men are some of the top stars in MLW. Aries came extremely close to winning the Middleweight Championship several times, especially after connecting with his signature brainbuster finisher.

The finishing sequence saw the MLW Middleweight Champion forcefully drag Austin’s prone body back into the ring; however, the crafty challenger got a sneaky roll-up pin for a strong two count. Hart instantly responded with the Canadian Destroyer and got the three count.
