Christopher "Abyss" Park will be inducted into the 2018 Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. Park has spent the last 17 years of his career with Impact Wrestling, debuting at the first-ever TNA pay-per-view in June 2002.
Park has been through hellacious wars against the likes of AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Jeff Hardy and dozens of other talented professional wrestling athletes in his storied TNA career. Mainly playing Abyss, Park is infamous for his hardcore matches like Monster’s Ball and his weapon of choice, Janice, which is a bat covered in nails.
Park also had another alias, a lawyer with no wrestling experience named Joseph Park. The character had a brief stint in the company, but he played a part in the big Aces & Eights storyline and the fun match he had with Jeremy Borash at Slammiversary XV against Josh Mathews and Scott Steiner.
Park has won every major title in the company, a former TNA World Heavyweight champion, TNA Tag Team champion, and a former X-Division champion. The Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony will take place during Bound For Glory weekend in New York City.
