"The American Nightmare" Cody Wins The NWA World Heavyweight Championship

Last night, “The American Nightmare” honored his father’s legacy by capturing the NWA World Heavyweight title last night at All In.

His father Dusty Rhodes captured the same title three-times between 1985-1989 and the wrestling legend had classic feuds for the title against Ric Flair and Harley Race, which cemented Rhodes' status in the wrestling world as one of the best.

Aldis had been the NWA World Heavyweight Champion since December of 2017, defeating Tim Storm to gain the title. Check out some of the highlights from the match below:
