A new year. A new record.
AEW has confirmed that on January 1st, the records of every talent on the roster will reset.
Nick Jackson revealed back in early November that the company would reset at the beginning of the year, though deals were sparse on what would happen with the previous record. That question has now been answered, as the overall career record will remain intact, but as the new year progresses, the annual rankings will become increasing important throughout the calendar year.
Thus far, Jon Moxley, Kris Statlander, and Santana & Ortiz are the top contender’s for their respective divisions, and that will remain that way going into the next rankings on Friday following the new year. Below are the official rankings as of December 26, 2019:
