Women of Wrestling (WOW) will be staying on AXS TV for the forseeable future!

The promotion was launched by original GLOW Founder, David McLane, back in 2000 using their platform for female talent to portray character driven performers, with names such as The Dagger, Lana Star, or Beverly Hills Babe. The all-women’s promotion made its debut on the AXS network back on January 18th, showcasing their top tier talent weekly for one-hour after weekly reruns of New Japan Pro Wrestling episodes.

The show was originally picked-up for eight episodes – with the final taped show playing this Friday – but the network has revealed that they will continue moving forward with WOW and picked up 24 additional episodes. Live tapings in association with the new season will be held May 15 and 16 in Los Angeles at the Belasco Theater (1050 South Hill Street).
