Unfortunately, Wonder of Stardom Champion Arisa Hoshiki is forced to retire.

The promotion announced the news earlier today through their social media feed. Hoshiki’s final match in Stardom was a ten-woman tag match with Oedo Tai (Bea Priestley, Natsuko Tora, Natsu Sumire & Saki Kashima) & Zoey Skye defeating Riho & STARS (Arisa Hoshiki, Mayu Iwatani, Starlight Kid & Tam Nakano):

The 24-year-old was the current Wonder of Stardom Champion, with her last defense on February 2 against Bea Priestley. Hoshiki won the annual Cinderella Tournament by beating Saki Kashima, Natsuko Tora, and Konami and challenged Momo Watanbe for the prestigious belt. Hoshiki would defeat Watanbe to win her first title within the promotion and she managed to keep the belt for 370 days.

The Stardom talent reveals that the reasoning behind her retirement stems from multiple neck and head injuries throughout the years. Hoshiki has been wrestling since the age of 15, so the Japan native’s career ends at a very young age.

The Wonder of Stardom title has been vacated, though it’s not known when a new champion will be crowned due the promotion not running any shows at the moment. Here’s wishing Arisa the best in her future endeavors.
