Vanessa Kraven is done with professional wrestling.

The 2018 WWE Mae Young Classic Competitor announced on social media that she’s retiring from the sport as an in-ring competitor. Kraven doesn’t exactly state the reasoning behind her decision to leave the business for good, but thanks fans for their support and notes that she’ll continue to be an advocate for the business on the sidelines:

Kraven has been wrestling since 2004. The 38-year-old competed all around the independent circuit; however, Kraven is mostly known for her time in Shimmer. While she never won any singles titles in the all-woman’s promotion, Kraven did capture the tag belts with Tessa Blanchard and kept the titles for nearly a year.

She’s also held the APW Heavyweight Championship, NCW Women's Championship, NCW Femmes Fatales International Championship, and PWE Flame Championship. Kraven fought in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, but was eliminated in the first-round by Lacey Lane. Following the tournament, she underwent leg surgery and hasn’t competed since.
