Another retirement in Stardom, as former World of Stardom Champion Kagetsu will hang up the boots for good.

According to the Wrestling Obsever Newsletter, this comes after drastic changes took place backstage. Kagetsu was the head trainer and her style reportedly wore thin on people, as she was fining those who showed up late and taking away personal time.

Unhappy with her methods, women on the roster reportedly went to management to protest her being in charge and she was eventually voted out as the head trainer and locker room leader. Her position gave her a lot of power within the promotion and once that was taken away, Kagetsu lost interest in continuing her career with Stardom.

The 27-year-old has been with the all-female company since April 2016, though her career started back in 2008. While her stint with Stardom wasn’t long, she managed to win the World Of Stardom Championship, Artist Of Stardom Championship (twice), and Goddesses Of Stardom Championship (twice).

Her final Stardom show is set to take place on Jan. 26. She will officially retire on Feb. 24 at a self-produced event. Former High Speed Champion Hazuki announced her retirement back in November, with the 22-year-old last wrestling for the promotion at the Stardom Year End Climax on December 24th.
