Tonight's episode of NXT kicked off with the huge Championship Match between Adam Cole and Finn Balor, and the leader of the Undisputed Era managed to escape with the gold.

The match was as exciting as you'd expect, with both Superstars pulling out all the stops to achieve victory. In the end, Balor was able to gain the upper hand after delivering his John Woo Kick to the corner, but before he could put his opponent away with the Coup de Gras, Johnny Gargano appeared at the top of the ramp and caused a distraction.

With the ref's attention turned to Gargano, Cole hit a low blow and followed it up with the Last Shot for the win.

Afterwards, Johnny Wrestling entered the ring and got a level of revenge against the man who put him on the shelf with a steel chair.

Looks like we're finally going to see Gargano vs. Balor at some point in the near future.
