Damien Priest Revealed As Finn Balor's Attacker On NXT; Costs The Prince His Match With Cameron Grimes

We expected this to drag out for much longer, so it was a pleasant surprise to see Finn Balor's attacker revealed as Damian Priest during this week's episode of NXT.

Balor was in the middle of his match with Cameron Grimes when Priest climbed over the guardrail and caused a distraction. Finn seemed to realize what was going on and threw the first shot, but once his back was turned, The Archer of Infamy struck Balor's knee with that nightstick.

This allowed The Technical Savage to hit that vicious two-foot stomp and pick up a huge victory over The Prince.

After the match, Priest hit his finisher on Finn before placing a steel chair on his throat and making it very clear that he was the one who accosted him a few weeks back. He then said if he wanted his name to live forever, he may as well start by taking out a prince.

This feud certainly has a lot of potential, but Damien Priest seems to have fallen into a routine of having great matches with top-tier talent, and coming out on the losing end each time. We can't see that changing if his next opponent is Finn Balor!
