Tonight's 2-hour episode of NXT on USA Network got off to a great start when former NXT and Universal Champion Finn Balor made his return.

The show kicked off with Adam Cole successfully defending the NXT Championship against Matt Riddle in an awesome back-and-forth bout, and when leader of the Undisputed Era was celebrating in the ring, Balor's music hit to a thunderous ovation.

No hands were thrown, but Finn made it very clear to Cole that he was officially back in the black and gold brand, and will likely challenge for the title very soon.

Many assumed that the former NJPW Bullet Club leader would join The OC upon his return, but it doesn't look like that's on the cards - at least not for the foreseeable future.

How do you guys feel about Finn Balor returning to NXT?
