It feels like former United Kingdom champion Tyler Bate has had the worst luck lately.

Progress Wrestling has been running its Super Strong Style tournament featuring several WWE wrestlers such as Pete Dunne, Kassius Ohno, and Tyler Bate. Both Dunne and Ohno have been eliminated from the tournament.

Now, in a video posted to the Progress Twitter account, Bate revealed he will be pulling out of the tournament due to a shoulder injury.

Bate doesn’t yet know the extent of the injury, but he suffered it during his Quarter-Final match with against Kassius Ohno. Bate was scheduled to be in the semi-final today against Zack Gibson, who defeated fellow WWE UK talent Pete Dunne to progress, but he is now unable to compete.

It has yet to be announced whether Gibson will simply get an automatic bye into the final, or if he will be forced to wrestle somebody else to earn his place.
