Popular independent wrestler Adrian “Lionheart” McCallum has died.

The news was shared over Twitter last night by Insane Championship Wrestling, where McCallum was the current champion. No details on his passing have been released yet, but the content of his final Tweet has led to speculation that he may have taken his own life.

Lionheart quoted Rickey Gervais' Netflix series Afterlife: “One day you will eat your last meal, You will smell your last flower, you will hug your friend for the last time,” read his Tweet. “You might not know it’s the last time, that’s why you must do everything you love with passion.”

McCallum was a terrific talent and was greatly respected by his peers. Tributes have been pouring in since the tragic news of his death. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
