Although we await official confirmation, it looks like Finn Balor vs. Johnny Gargano is set for NXT TakeOver: Portland.

Last night on NXT, Gargano cut a promo on Balor in the ring, calling him a hypocrite for walking away from the black and gold brand as soon as he got the call to move up to Raw. Johnny said he got that same phone-call, but decided to stay put because he actually loves the promotion and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

At that, "The Prince" hit the ramp and berated Gargano before revealing that he'd asked GM William Regal to book a match for TakeOver: Portland, but Johnny will be lucky if he makes it to the PPV. This obviously implies that Balor is going to attempt to put Gargano on the shelf again at some point in the buildup to the next TakeOver event.
