It’s being reported by Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens that Mae Young Classic competitor Santana Garrett has signed a developmental contract.

Garrett has been in the wrestling scene for a decade, most notably working for TNA/Impact Wrestling under the name Brittany for two short stints back in 2010 and 2013-2014. Garrett has also worked for Shine, Stardom, NWA, and most recently, Women of Wrestling. She’s a former NWA World Women's Champion, Wonder of Stardom Champion, and WOW World Champion.

The second-generation star has had previous stints with the WWE aside from the first-ever Mae Young Classic tournament; however, she played the role of enhancement talent in NXT.

There’s no word on when Garrett will make her in-ring debut for NXT, but the talented wrestler definitely a welcome addition to the roster!
