If it hasn’t been clear over the past week, Matt Riddle isn’t a big fan of WWE Hall of famer Goldberg.

‘The King of Bros’ clowned the former Universal Champion for his performance at WWE Super Showdown this past Friday, stating that Goldberg is “absolutely the worst wrestler in the business right now”. The NXT Superstar hasn’t been shy on expressing his feelings regarding the WCW legend, but took the time to finally explain his reasoning for being so critical of Goldberg, citing that he isn’t a fan of wrestlers who risk the safety of others:

“I love Pro Wrestling so much and that’s why I get mad at certain people because they’re unsafe, dangerous and a liability to everyone else, I’ve worked hard to get where I am and this is only the beginning!”

Riddle doesn’t apologize for his comments and makes it clear that he won’t stop speaking his mind when it comes to Goldberg or other wrestlers he views as unsafe workers. There’s still no word on how management feels about Riddle’s comments regarding the WWE Hall of famer, though there hasn’t been much indication that he has heat with officials backstage.
