We recently found out that Mauro Ranallo was set to return to The WWE, this time as a part of the NXT Commentary team, and you'll find the first commenst from the man himself below.

Nobody expected to see the former Smackdown Live announcer on WWE TV again after he seemingly walked away in the midst of rumors of harassment from fellow announcer and notorious bully John Bradshaw Layfield, so this news came as a very pleasant surprise.

Ranallo will be introduced on NXT at some point over the next few weeks, but because the show is taped beforehand we have his first video interview below. In it, Ranallo ackknowleges tha fact that he's seen as something of a divisive announcer, and discusses the upcoming boxing match between Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, which he will still be calling. He also says he's been humbled by the fan-response to the news of his return.
