NXT TAKEOVER: NEW ORLEANS Was The Most Watched TAKEOVER Event In History

NXT TakeOver: New Orleans boasted one heck of a card and with the brand's popularity still very much on the rise, it probably won't shock you to learn of the show's success on the WWE Network last weekend.

NXT TakeOver: New Orleans was a great show featuring a main event pitting Johnny Gargano against Tommaso Ciampa in an unsanctioned match, Aleister Black defeating Andrade "Cien" Almas to win the NXT Championship, and Shayna Baszler taking down Ember Moon to capture the NXT Women's Championship. Needless to say, the event was a rousing success for the company.

That's evident from the Tweet below which Triple H shared last week to confirm that not only did NXT TakeOver: New Orleans sell out but it was also the most watched edition on the WWE Network.

Considering the fact that many fans thought NXT would die a quick death once it lost Superstars like Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, and American Alpha, this event being the most watched NXT TakeOver to date pretty much proves all the doubters wrong. Do you think it managed to steal WrestleMania's spotlight? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
