Roderick Strong finally fulfilled the Undisputed Era's prophecy of holding all the gold in NXT tonight on the black and gold brand's historic USA Network debut, but he needed to employ some very questionable tactics to accomplish it.
After a great back-and-forth match with Velveteen Dream to close out the first hour of the show, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly rushed to ringside, and a quick distraction allowed Cole to superkick Dream off the top rope when he was going for his Purple Rainmaker elbow drop.
After that, Strong was able to hit a second End of Heartache backbreaker for the 3-count, and we now have a new NXT North American Champion.
