See Footage Of Finn Bálor's Long-Awaited Return To The Ring During NXT Tapings Last Night

Though still not quite medically cleared to wrestle, Finn Bálor certainly made a big impact when he returned to the ring to rescue Shinsuke Nakamura from a beat-down during Wednesday night's NXT tapings.

After being out of action with an injury for the past 5 months, Finn Bálor finally returned to an NXT ring last night when he interrupted Andrade “Cien” Almas and Bobby Roode's beat-down of former champ Shinsuke Nakamura. Though Finn is actually not yet medically cleared to wrestle, that didn't stop him pulling out a couple of his signature moves to set Roode up for Nakamura's devastating Kinshasa. The Irishman then cut a promo, promising he'd be back "sooner than later" to reclaim "what's his".

We assume he means the RAW Universal Championship which is currently adorning the shoulder of Kevin Owens, but how The Demon factors into WWE's title picture plans as we move towards Wrestlemania is anyone's guess.

Though Bálor's return was a dark segment, WWE has released some footage from the tapings which is sure to give his legions of fans goosebumps.
