Shinsuke Nakamura May Not Be Moving Up To The Main Roster As Soon As Previously Expected

Recently, some evidence surfaced seemingly pointing to former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura making his main roster debut shortly after WrestleMania, but it appears as if we may have all jumped the gun!

Shinsuke Nakamura made his NXT debut during WrestleMania weekend last year, but it's been apparent for a while now that his main WWE roster debut is long overdue. Triple H has even said on a number of occasions that his call-up is a question of when, not if, and the former NXT Champion not being featured on a poster for an upcoming NXT tour in the UK this June seemingly pointed to that happening in a matter of weeks.

Unfortunately, it seems like we may have spoken too soon as Nakamura has now confirmed that he will indeed be part of that tour, something which seemingly confirms he'll be with the brand over the summer. That's news sure to disappoint fans hoping he would make his main roster debut after WrestleMania on RAW or SmackDown Live

There are, however, a couple of other possibilities here. The NXT roster isn't at its best right now, so Nakamura could have been added if initial ticket sales were lower than expected. It's also worth noting that both Kevin Owens and Finn Balor continued working NXT Live events following their main roster debuts, so that too could be the case for reasons unknown. Whatever the answer may be, we need Nakamura to be called up ASAP!
