We Finally Have Some More Details On WWE's Plans For Their United Kingdom Division
WWE's United Kingdom Tournament was a big success, but since then we haven't really heard anything about the company's plans for its UK Division. Now, we finally have some concrete details on what to expect...
Following the massive success of WWE's United Kingdom Championship Tournament a few months back, it was announced that the UK Division would be promoted via a new televised series. However, despite the likes of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne bringing the house down on NXT and on a handful of live shows from time to time, it's been all quiet on the UK front... until now.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, a plan is in place to tape programming every six weeks, and to run WWE U.K. live events twice a month across the pond. Plus, Bate, Dunne, Trent Seven, Wolfgang, and Mark Andrews have reportedly been singed to new contracts that will allow them to continue to compete on NXT from time to time.
Though this is great news for the UK Division overall, I'm actually a little disappointed that these guys won't be appearing on NXT full-time, as they've consistently been the highlight of the weekly shows.
At any rate, keep an eye out for an offcial announcement regarding the UK Division over the next few weeks.
