WWE NXT Champion Bobby Roode And Mark Andrews Visit Manchester Arena Attack Victim
Following a terrorist attack in Manchester, WWE cancelled an upcoming NXT Live event, but a variety of Superstars from the brand have been visiting some of the youngsters and families injured in the bombing.
Out of respect for those affected by the recent terror attack in Manchester at an Ariana Grande concert, WWE cancelled an NXT Live event due to take place at Manchester Arena this month. However, the brand's Superstars have gone out of their way to reach out to some of the victims and one lucky youngster recently received her own title belt from NXT Champion Bobby Roode.
As first reported by Sky News (where you can see a video of the exchange), eight-year-old Lily Harrison - who was injured along with both of her parents - was surprised by Roode and WWE UK competitor Mark Andrews and presented with a variety of gifts.
"We like to support people like Lily and all the people suffering from what happened over here in Manchester," Roode tells the site. "It's always fun to see people smile." WWE has donated to the Manchester Relief fun and refunded fans who lost out on the chance to see their favourite NXT Superstars. Needless to say, it's always great seeing stuff like this happen!
