Jordynne Grace is gone from TNA Wrestling.
It was a big weekend for TNA. Part of that weekend saw the return of former Impact and Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard. Not surprisingly, the fans weren’t particularly kind to the second generation star. They chanted, “Tessa Sucks”, F**k you Tessa”, and “She’s a racist”. That didn’t stop Blanchard from getting the win over Grace.
It’s been reported that the former Knockouts Champion’s contract ended during the weekend of Genesis and the 29-year-old herself confirmed with a sweet video of the locker room showing Grace some love following her match against Tessa at Genesis.
Where will Jordynne Grace go next? The answer seems obvious, but there’s no word on when (or if) Grace will make her full time WWE debut. Though the speculation is that Grace will sign with the company, there’s no reports on the two sides coming to a contract agreement. The most glaring choice for Grace’s re-debut can be at the 2025 Royal Rumble, where she impressed many last year when she made her shocking appearance as the Knockouts Champion.
Jordynne felt right at home being in the WWE last year so it’s a wonder why it’s taken her so long to finally make it into the promotion. Apparently, it had nothing to do with past officials as WWE was interested in Grace, but the former TNA star didn’t know how she would be handled in the promotion:
"I really, truly think it's been about timing," Grace said. "There's been a few times in my career my contract's been coming up, and I've talked to WWE, and I kept staying in TNA because it was where I was comfortable, and I didn't know how WWE was going to treat me. It's kind of crazy to me that it wasn't the time then, but it's the time now, and now I get the best of both worlds. Everything works out exactly the way it's supposed to."
Grace is arguably one of the best female wrestlers in the world so she’s a welcome addition to any roster. Given how stacked the NXT women’s roster, it would be great to see her mix it up with a couple names like Stephanie Vaquer or Giulia before she heads to RAW and Smackdown. Of course, there’s always the possibility that Grace goes to AEW. Either way, she’ll help make any roster better.
