It’s official, LAX is done with Impact Wrestling.

The duo faced off against Rich Swann & Willie Mack this past Thursday during the television tapings in Mexico. Footage surfaced of the former Impact World Tag Team Champions receiving a standing ovation from the crowd as the Impact locker room crowded the ring for what appeared to be a send-off for Santana & Ortiz.

Santana confirmed that the duo did wrestle their last match with the promotion this past Thursday:

"Our appreciation and gratitude for every single person there who had a hand in helping us get to this point, is absolutely endless."

"THANK YOU for the opportunity to show the world our passion and commitment to this business. And most of all, for the opportunity to represent our people and culture on a big stage. We are forever grateful."

The duo was first introduced to the Impact audience back in 2017. Since then, Santana & Ortiz have had fantastic bouts against the likes of The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) and Jake & Dave Christ of Ohio vs. Everything. The tag team captured the Impact World Tag Team titles four-times during their run with the company.

At the moment, there’s no word on what the future holds for LAX, as rumors continue to state that the duo will either end up in WWE or AEW.
