Impact Wrestling's X-Division has a rich history of champions and memorable matches. It all started in June 2002, when AJ Styles defeated Low Ki, Jerry Lynn, and Psicosis in a Four Way Double Elimination match to be crowned the inaugural champion.

Cage spoke with Sportskeeda, and ‘The Machine’ was questioned on which former X-Division Champion he would like to face:

“AJ Styles, hands down. He has been my life long dream match and I’d say he was THE X-division Champion and he probably one of the best three wrestlers going on today, so it has to be Styles, no doubt.”
