Seth Rollins recently admitted that he wanted to "strangle" Vince McMahon after his Hell in a Cell match with Bray Wyatt in 2019, and the latter has now teased sharing his reaction to the disastrous bout...

Seth Rollins was recently interviewed by WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the subject of having the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's worst match of the year was brought up. That was, of course, Rollins' match with Bray Wyatt/The Field at Hell in a Cell back in 2019.

Fans wanted Wyatt to win and weren't happy with what was essentially a DQ finish inside a structure where there are supposed to be no rules (Rollins buried The Fiend in weapons and hit him with a giant mallet). The Architect says he wanted to strangle Vince McMahon after the match, but Wyatt - who was recently released by WWE - has now teased sharing his side of the story.

In a Tweet responding to one of the stories about Rollins' comments, he said: "Wait until you hear my reaction." It's hardly surprising to think Wyatt was similarly upset, especially as this was a real step backwards for The Fiend character (WWE eventually killed the gimmick with bad booking decisions).

It's looking like Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, will have a lot to say about his time in WWE when he's finally free to talk about it. Chances are, he'll appear on something like Talk Is Jericho to spill the beans, and rumours persist that the former WWE Superstar is heading to AEW or, failing that, IMPACT.

The Fiend is one of the WWE's biggest blunders of the past decade.

They had a character that the fans loved, and that had the potential to fill that supernatural void left by the Undertaker's retirement.

So what did they do? Built him up to be an unstoppable monster and then had him get beaten to a pulp by Seth Rollins in his first match. Beaten so bad that the red called the match in a No Rules match lol.

So they bring him back and he beats Rollins for the title. Then promptly loses the title to Goldberg like a month or two later and disappears for several months.

Then comes back to feud with Randy Orton. Loses twice in a row to him, and even gets set on fire in the middle of the ring lol.

Then comes back another 2 months later and loses again to Orton with a single RKO.

I mean.....come on.

The only thing they let the Fiend do that was beat Rollins for the title in a rematch, but ONLY because the fans were one second away from rioting.

And they let him beat Cena in a comedy cinematic match, which has no meaning whatsoever because Cena is a part timer and was only coming back for that match anyway.

The incompetence with this character is just mind-blowing.
