With WrestleMania fast approaching, we only have a partial card for the Show of Shows. However, WWE has finally announced which matches will headline the Saturday and Sunday shows, with SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey set for Night 1 and Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar taking place on Night 2.
On Monday night's episode of RAW, WWE Hall of Famer Edge cut an extremely vague promo about his WrestleMania opponent, but there's a good reason for that.
According to the @WrestleVotes Twitter account, "We are roughly 5 weeks out & I’m told the WM card is still very fluid. Hence the reason for the vague Edge promo, the 2 week delay on the tag title match & the MSG title defense for Brock. Creative is leaving a ton of space in nearly every storyline to allow major flexibility."
In other words, final decisions have yet to be made about what we'll see at WrestleMania, and this lines up with a recent Ringside News report claiming WWE hasn't locked most matches in and currently has only a "working plan" for their biggest "Premium Live Event" for the year.
Stay tuned for updates.
