AEW DYNAMITE: Domino's Pizza Unhappy Their Commercial Aired At The Same Time As THAT Pizza Cutter Spot

During Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite, Nick Cage sliced open Chris Jericho's head with a pizza cutter...while a Domino's Pizza commercial aired on TNT. Needless to say, the company isn't happy.

Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite concluded with a brutal death match pitting Chris Jericho against Nick Gage. As expected, it was a brutal, extremely bloody match, and Cage used his trademark pizza cutter spot.

That involved him literally using a pizza cutter to slice Jericho's head open, and it was pure bad luck that, as it was happening, the picture in picture commercial break kicked in...with a commercial for Domino's Pizza. Needless to say, the company isn't best pleased, and it's said that they're disavowing any association with the AEW match.

"We share the concerns expressed about this incident and the content of this TV-14 rated program, and are assessing our advertising presence on it going forward," Domino's spokeswoman Jenny Fouracre-Petko said in a statement today.

Ironically, this episode of Dynamite did great numbers in terms of ratings, but if there's a risk that TNT will lose major sponsors...well, don't bank on this sort of match happening again.
