Last week, MGM Grand Garden Arena cancelled or rescheduled nearly every show up until August 28th, except Double or Nothing. There was never any confirmation on the pay-per-view being scrapped until now, as AEW has officially confirmed that the event will no longer take place in Las Vegas:

At the moment, there’s no word on where Double or Nothing will take place, but the company does plan to move forward with the pay-per-view on Saturday, May 23. However, with Florida releasing a public statement deeming professional wrestling or any media production with a national audience as an essential business, Double or Nothing could end up taking place at Daily Palace’s in Jacksonville, Florida. As previously stated, this is just pure speculation on my end.

Thus far, nothing is made official for Double or Nothing; however, the TNT Championship tournament will conclude at the event on May 23. The company also confirmed that their live Dynamite taping on May 27 is also off the schedule.
