Erick Stevens has officially walked away from professional wrestling.
This past weekend, Black Label Pro held their Threat Noon show during The Collective 2020. During the event, Top Flight (Air Wolf & Angel Dorado) defeated Erick Stevens & Tom Lawlor. Following his tag team match-up, the independent veteran announced that he's hanging up the boots for good on Twitter.
The 38-year-old originally retired back in 2010; however, Stevens would make his return to the business nine years later in Beyond Wrestling. Eventually, Stevens started working with Major League Wrestling and the veteran would join Team Filthy featuring former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor, King Mo Lawal, and Dominic Garrini.
Stevens actually announced his retirement back in March, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Florida native held off the retirement until now. Based off his statements, Stevens appears to be focusing more on his home life and Youtube channel, Family Food Dude.
Other than MLW and Black Label Pro, Stevens mainly competed in the indie circuit at places such as Alliance Wrestling Force, Ring of Honor, IndependentWrestling.tv, and Full Impact Pro. We wish the very best for Stevens on his future endeavors.
