Remember WWE’s Melina Perez?

Beautiful valet of MNM. A devious vixen who’s had great matches with veterans and legends such as Trish Stratus, Mickie James, and Beth Phoenix. Or the woman who had the “classic” match against Ashely Massaro at WrestleMania 23.

Jokes aside, Melina has been pretty quiet in the main stream wrestling world (she’s been mostly wrestling in the independent scene) since being released from the WWE back in 2011.  She briefly returned to the wrestling spotlight in Lucha Underground, assisting former WWE Intercontinental champion John Morrison (who goes under the name Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground) in a one-off appearance in 2015.

It seems that the former WWE star Melina Perez will be returning to the ring on Friday, March 23 for Australian Wrestling Entertainment. Last March, Melina dislocated her knee and questioned whether the injury would end her career. The three-time WWE Women's Champion and two-time Divas Champion will take on Shazza McKenzie.
