Jon Moxley Reveals That He'll Continue To Wrestle For NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING Once The G1 CLIMAX Ends

At the moment, Jon Moxley is currently taking part of the grueling G1 Climax tournament, with the IWGP United States Champion having a strong record of 5 wins and 3 losses.

Despite currently working under the New Japan banner, Moxley is also signed with All Elite Wrestling, who will make their television debut on October 2nd. Many assumed that the former WWE star would no longer compete in the Japanese promotion when AEW finally launches on television; however, Moxley shuts down that notion in his interview with Nikkan Sport in Japan (transcription courtesy of sescoops.com):

“Fortunately, there is no problem in fighting in New Japan while belonging to an American organization (AEW). In the future, I can always show up in Japan and play games.”

There’s no word on how long Moxley’s contract is with New Japan Pro Wrestling, but with the former WWE Champion being able to wrestle for the Japanese promotion beyond the G1 Climax, could we see Jon Moxley vs. Kazuchika Okada at the Wrestle Kingdom next year?
