Kota Ibushi Is Reportedly "Fine... To A Degree" After Taking Scary Bump At NJPW's DOMINION

Kota Ibushi lost the IWGP Intercontinental Title to Tetsuya Naito at NJPW’s Dominion pay-per-view over the weekend, and he also suffered what appeared to be a very stiff wallop to the side of the head...

Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito had an awesome match at NJPW Dominion this past Saturday, but at one point fans believed the match should have been stopped when a German Suplex attempt on the ring apron ended in disaster for The Golden Star.

Instead of hitting the apron flat on his back, Ibushi struck the side of his face and fell to the ground. Although he was able to continue, he seemed groggy and it'll be a miracle if he didn't suffer a concussion at the very least.

While we haven't had any updates on Kota's status from NJPW, Dave Meltzer has heard from a source that the popular wrestler is "fine... to a degree," and that he didn't need to visit the hospital. Whether he'll still be able to compete in the G1 Climax tournament in a few weeks remains to be seen, but here's hoping.
