The former MLW World Heavyweight Champion is remaining with the promotion for years to come.

Major League Wrestling has confirmed that they re-signed Tom Lawlor to a multi-year deal, though the exact terms of the contract is currently unknown.

Last week, it was revealed by PWInsider that Lawlor’s deal with MLW was coming to an end very soon. It was initially believed that the 36-year-old would be leaving the promotion as Dave Meltzer confirmed reports that Lawlor’s contract was up and that neither side could make an agreement.

The speculation was fueled even further when MLW CEO Court Bauer released a statement on social media thanking Lawlor for his services within the promotion. However, “Filthy” is here to stay and with the former MMA star rising to the top of the mountain within the promotion very quickly, could we see Tom Lawlor win back the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in the future?
