It appears that Minoru Suzuki could be leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.

According to Joe Lanza of the Voices of Wrestling podcast, the 51-year-old is reportedly unhappy with his position within the promotion and would have left already “If not for the Jushin Liger program” that he’s in the midst of. It’s expected of Suzuki to leave the Japanese promotion and return to Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Suzuki has had three stints with the promotion that spans all the way back to his debut in 1988. Throughout his time in the company, Suzuki has won the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, IWGP Tag Team Championship, and the NEVER Openweight title. At the moment, there’s no word on when Suzuki could leave New Japan.
