Double or Nothing is less than a week away and it appears one of the top matches for the show has been scrapped. At the Wrestle Gate Pro event in Nottingham, England, PAC was scheduled to face Jody Fleisch and Robbie X in a triple threat match; however, Robbie X had wrestled earlier in the night and Fleisch was unable to make the event.

The former WWE superstar then issused an open challenge and to the surprise of many, his AEW opponent, Adam "Hangman" Page, answered. The bout went about ten minutes and ended when PAC nailed a low-blow on the referee before Page hit him with the Buckshot Lariat. After the match, PAC attacked Page with a chair and announced that he would not be at AEW Double or Nothing on May 25.

Apparently, this wasn’t just an angle to get more heat on their match-up on May 25th as according to the Wrestling Observer, this was a way to write the match off the show. The reason the bout was scrapped from Double or Nothing stems from creative differences surrounding the match with PAC, which led to the bout being pulled from the event.

The Observer says that the match from this week will be released online, and Page will be re-booked against a new opponent for Double or Nothing. There’s no word on who Page’s replacement could be.
