RING OF HONOR World Champion RUSH's Contract Will Reportedly Expire By The End Of 2020

Could RUSH be on his way out of Ring of Honor?

According to Dave Meltzer, The current ROH World Champion’s contract with the promotion will be coming to an end by 2020. This is the exact same situation in 2019, with the 32-year-old having interest from places such as WWE and All Elite Wrestling.

It's rumored that the reason that RUSH opted to not go to the WWE is due to Andrade - who was the original member of Los Ingobernables in CMLL – actually stopping him from signing with the company due to his unhappiness at the time.

There’s no word on whether WWE and AEW still have interest in the popular Mexican star, nor is it confirmed on whether he’s had talks with Andrade recently. The wrestling journalist does note that Andrade is happy with his current status in WWE. While the promotion is likely working out a deal with RUSH, there’s been no confirmation from Meltzer or any other sources.

RUSH has been out of action since the pandemic halted the production of the ROH tapings. While the ROH World Champion has been competing in CMLL lately, RUSH hasn’t had a match in ROH since February. Currently, ROH is running the Pure Championship tournament thus RUSH isn’t expected to make an appearance during the latest set of tapings.
