We’re less than two days away from Wrestle Kingdom 13 and the feud between Tetsuya Naito and IWGP Intercontinental champion Chris Jericho has nearly reached a boiling point.

This all started back at Dominion when Jericho pulled off the shocking win against Naito to capture the IWGP Intercontinental title and since then, wild brawls, trash talking, and a vow to end each other’s careers at New Japan’s biggest event have all taken place during the build to Friday.

The challenger speaks to NJPW about his upcoming title match and Naito makes it clear that Jericho was the better man at Dominion:

"Yeah. But I do believe that the winner is proven right. Even though he doesn't wrestle a lot, and he's pre-occupied with another career, I'm the one who lost to him in Osaka. It's my fault that he's got that chip on his shoulder. That's on me."

The former IWGP Intercontinental champion is feeling the pressure of his upcoming title match on Friday and makes it clear why he can’t lose his rematch against the WWE legend:

"I can't lose. If he beats me again, he will have an even greater sense of entitlement in New Japan. And it'll be a black mark on me. However, as much as I'd like to talk, we would still just be one and one, so I can't say too much to that."
