The Rock 'n Roll Express have been enjoying a resurgence of late, appearing on the independent scene as well as in AEW and NWA. Now, the legendary tag-team have added more gold to their already impressive array of title runs.

Tonight on NWA Powerrr, Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton defeated The Wild Cards (who are half their age) to become the new NWA Tag-Team Champions. It wasn't much of a match, but the crowd were well into the action, and the pop when Ricky rolled up Royce Isaacs for the 1,2,3 was deafening.

It remains to be seen how long The Rock 'n Roll will manage to hold on to the titles, but it's pretty great to see them get this one last run - even if it does stretch credibility that they'd beat a team like The Wild Cards!
